I’m Rachael - a documentary-style wedding photographer & filmmaker, happiest with muddy boots, a camera in hand, and my chocolate lab Hunter (a.k.a. Hunny B) by my side.
When I’m not photographing or filming love stories, you’ll probably find me hiking, wild swimming, or cheering on my very talented other half, Connor Walsh, at one of his gigs (he’s an acoustic singer-songwriter and perfect for weddings - we LOVE working together)
These days I live full-time on the road in my trusty motorhome, Moey. Whether I’m parked up in the Lake District, wandering the rugged landscapes of Scotland, or chasing golden sunsets on the Cornish coast, I’m never too far from my next adventure - and I bring that same love for the outdoors into the way I capture weddings.
My love for photography started with landscapes and wildlife (yes, Highland cows will always have my heart). In 2022 I took the leap from hobbyist to professional, and it’s been the proudest thing I’ve ever done. Since then, I’ve captured weddings all over the UK and beyond - from intimate elopements in the Lake District to big DIY celebrations in Yorkshire barns…and even a handful of destination weddings in Tuscany, Majorca and Greece.
MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
I believe the best photos and films are natural, fun, and full of life. My approach is documentary-led, focusing on candid moments that tell the story of your day. Think “prompts, not poses” - gentle direction when you need it, but mostly letting you relax and enjoy yourselves while I capture the magic as it happens.
Your wedding day isn’t about disappearing for hours of staged portraits. It’s about being with your people, soaking it all in, and knowing I’ll be there to preserve those little in-between moments you’ll cherish forever.
PHOTO & FILM
Alongside photography, I also create wedding highlight films - weaving together movement and atmosphere so you can relive the energy of your day. Each film is set to bespoke music composed and played by Connor (my very talented other half), crafted to perfectly match the pace and feeling of your wedding.
Whether you book me for photos, film, or both, you’ll get a relaxed, storytelling approach and timeless coverage. Highlight films can be added to any of my packages, no matter the length of coverage.
WHO ARE MY IDEAL CLIENTS?
Couples in love, with or without their dogs. I don't mind who you are or where you're getting married, as long as you're down to earth, laid back people who aren't afraid to be themselves. Whether you’re planning an adventurous elopement or a big celebration, I’m here to document it all.

I'm a Canon girly, always have and always will be. I always bring at least three cameras to every wedding (backups are key!). My favorite lenses? A 35mm and 85mm - perfect for capturing all the magic.
