I’m a wedding and elopement photographer who’s happiest with muddy boots, a camera in hand, and my chocolate lab, Hunter (a.k.a. Hunny B), by my side.
When I’m not capturing love stories, you’ll find me exploring the UK in my trusty motorhome, Mo, chasing sunsets, or supporting my very talented other half, Connor Walsh, at one of his gigs. (By the way, he’s perfect for weddings if you’re looking - we LOVE working together!)
My love for photography started with landscapes and wildlife—highland cows being my favourite subject! In 2022, I took the leap from hobbyist to professional photographer, and I’ve never looked back.
Some may say I'm lucky to be where I am, but trust me, there has been A LOT of work, effort and determination to build Rachael Stephenson Photography in to the successful business it is today, and it's the proudest thing I have done to date...
​MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE​​
I believe the best photos are natural, fun, and full of life. My approach is documentary, focusing on candid moments that tell the story of your day. I work in a documentary style and like to say, “prompts, not poses,” using gentle direction to bring out your best while letting you relax and enjoy the moment.

Your wedding day is about being with your loved ones, not spending hours away posing for photos. I’ll be there to capture the magic as it happens—those little moments you’ll cherish forever.

WHO ARE MY IDEAL CLIENTS?
Couples in love, with or without their dogs. I don't mind who you are or where you're getting married, as long as you're down to earth, laid back people who aren't afraid to be themselves. Whether you’re planning an adventurous elopement or a big celebration, I’m here to document it all.

I'm a Canon girly, always have and always will be. I always bring at least three cameras to every wedding (backups are key!). My favorite lenses? A 35mm and 85mm—perfect for capturing all the magic.
