I'm Rachael, a girl who spends most of her time outside. Whether it's for photographing weddings and elopements, or just because I've got some free time, you'll either find me in Yorkshire (my home county), the Lake District, Peak District, Cornwall, the Pembrokeshire Coast or up in the Scottish Highlands. I have a campervan (Patricia the Peugeot) who's my favourite belonging, and she gives me the freedom to travel all these places, while still feeling at home.
I also love to travel outside of the UK and in 2024 you'll find me capturing gorgeous weddings in Tuscany, Italy and also Puerto Pollensa, Majorca. To have a "job" that takes me to amazing places like this, is what makes my world go round..
My wedding photography style is very natural and relaxed. It’s all about capturing the little in-between moments, the behind-the-scenes best bits and the serendipitous instants that happen naturally and spontaneously. I'm first and foremost, a documentary style wedding photographer but I do like to add a little splash of direction from time to time. It’s all about being completely relaxed, having some fun and of course, being in love and I promise, I won’t keep you away from your wedding guests for too long when taking those all important couple's portraits.
You or your partner might be thinking, I hate having my photo taken. Well, you're not alone (I am exactly the same), which is why I have made it my mission to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. It's all about prompts over poses, and giving you little tasks to help bring out your true selves. That is my favourite thing to capture...
