A WAKEFIELD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER WITH A DIFFERENCE
If you’re looking for an experienced Wakefield wedding photographer, then we should definitely have a chat. Wakefield is my home town, and over the year’s living here I have spent endless hours exploring some of the city’s best wedding venues.
From Newmillerdam, to Waterton Park Hotel, from Kings Croft to The Hepworth and the new Tileyard North, one thing’s for sure, I know Wakefield’s best wedding venues and photo spots, like the back of my hand.
Simple, elegant, grand, ornate, industrial, modern, traditional… Wakefield has it all
What makes Wakefield great for wedding photography is the diversity this amazing Yorkshire city has to offer. Whether you’re looking for something simple and elegant, modern and industrial, or grand and ornate, you’re guaranteed to find something to suit your style in Wakefield, and I know I can guarantee to take some amazing photos of your wedding, no matter what venue, theme or vibe you’re looking for.
My photography style
My style of photography is all about working unobtrusively, to capture the magic moments that make your day truly special. I work in a documentary style, which means I’ll be with you throughout the whole of your wedding day, taking photos from beginning to end, so every part of your special day, from prep to party is perfectly captured. Take a look at some of my favourite Wakefield wedding photos taken right here in my hometown…
A few (and it is just a few) of my favourite wedding venues in Wakefield include:
This bijou venue is the perfect space for intimate evening wedding receptions and it offers a stunning waterside location that’s second to none, especially when the sun starts to set.
YSP is one of Wakefield’s most contemporary wedding venues and with beautiful rolling countryside views, an expansive lakeside and not to mention the amazing collection of art and sculpture on display, it’s no surprise this is one of Wakefield’s most instagrammable locations and if you’re looking for instagrammable Wakefield wedding photos, then this has to be the right place for you.
Oulton Hall Hotel
If you’re planning a Wakefield wedding with some serious curb appeal, then you can’t go wrong with Oulton hall. I know, I know, technically this one’s in Leeds, but it’s so close to Wakefield it really is a great choice if you’re looking for a venue with sweeping staircases, impressive interiors and some of the most photogenic landscapes, gardens and spaces.
Waterton Park Hotel
Another idyllic lakeside setting, Waterton Park Hotel offers the best of both worlds historic grandeur alongside contemporary style and, I have to mention, that it’s an award winning Wakefield wedding venue.
A few of my favourite wedding suppliers in Wakefield include:
-
Connor Walsh Music
-
BBlush Beauty
-
Frank Bird Menswear
-
Bakes by Vanilla Bean
-
Peony Dried Flowers
